iPhone diagnostic service in Fuengirola

When the fault is obvious — cracked glass, a dead battery, a loose charging port — you do not need a diagnostic, you need the repair. This is for the other cases: a phone that will not power up, a display that lights but shows nothing, random restarts, or a phone that has been wet and is behaving strangely. The point is to identify the real fault before anybody buys a part.

Calle Lanzarote 3, 29640 Fuengirola, Málaga, Spain · Monday to Saturday, 14:00 – 22:00 · by appointment

What gets checked

  • Display and touch across the whole panel — dead strips, ghost touch, backlight, colour
  • Battery health, cycle count and behaviour under load, which is where random shutdowns come from
  • Charging: the port, the flex and whether the phone actually draws current properly
  • Speakers, ear speaker and microphones, tested on a real call
  • Front and rear cameras, autofocus and stabilisation
  • Face ID and the sensors behind the display
  • Liquid indicators and a visual board inspection when water is suspected

Why guessing costs more than checking

A blank display can be a failed panel or a phone that is not booting at all. Random shutdowns are usually a worn battery, but not always. A phone that will not charge might be the port, the flex, the battery or corrosion from a spill six weeks ago. Fitting a part to find out is an expensive way to learn which one it was.

After the assessment you get three things: what is actually wrong, the repair that fixes it, and the price. If the phone is not worth the money, you will be told that too — over twenty years on this coast, that has been better for business than the alternative.

When a diagnostic is not needed

There is no diagnostic fee for the everyday jobs. A cracked or black screen, a battery that dies by lunchtime, a charging port that has gone loose, a cracked rear glass or a camera lens — those all have published prices that include the part, the labour and IVA, and the testing we do together before and after is part of the repair.

A phone that has been in water is the opposite case: nothing can be concluded from the outside. There the first step is an ultrasonic board clean and corrosion treatment from €99, taken as a non-refundable deposit, and the report comes after that.

Diagnostic questions

What does an iPhone diagnostic involve?
The phone is tested function by function — display and touch, battery health and behaviour under load, charging and the port, speakers and microphones, cameras, Face ID, and the liquid indicators — so the actual fault is identified before any part is bought or fitted.
Do I pay for a diagnostic?
There is no diagnostic fee when the fault is an obvious screen, battery, port, camera or back glass job — the published repair price covers it. For unclear faults, or a phone that has been wet, the inspection is quoted to you first before any work starts.
How long does it take?
Most assessments are done while you wait. A phone that has been in water needs opening and cleaning before anything can be concluded, which is usually a same-day job.
Will you tell me if the phone is not worth repairing?
Yes. If the repair cost does not make sense against what the phone is worth, you will be told that plainly instead of being sold parts.
Is my data at risk during a diagnostic?
No. Nothing is wiped or reset. A back-up is always sensible before any repair, but the assessment itself does not touch your content.
