How long does an iPhone screen replacement take?

When it takes longer
A screen that has been lifted by a swollen battery needs the battery doing at the same time. A phone with cracked back glass as well needs a separate laser repair, which is 45 to 60 minutes. A phone that has also been wet needs the board cleaning first, which is a same-day job rather than a while-you-wait one.
And if the panel for an unusual model is not in the drawer, it has to be ordered — which is why sending your exact model on WhatsApp before you travel saves the wasted trip.
