How much does an iPhone screen repair cost?
It depends almost entirely on which panel your model uses. LCD models such as the iPhone 11, XR, SE and 8 are the cheapest; OLED models — the X and every Pro since — cost more, and a Pro Max is the most expensive panel Apple makes. Every price on this site is published per model with the part, the labour and IVA included, so there is no quote to wait for.
Why two iPhones can differ by hundreds of euros
The front of a modern iPhone is one bonded assembly: glass, display and touch layer in a single unit. You are not paying for a sheet of glass, you are paying for the display. An LCD assembly is comparatively cheap to produce; an OLED assembly, especially a large Pro Max one with ProMotion, is one of the most expensive parts in the phone.
That is why there is no honest single 'iPhone screen price'. Look up your exact model in Settings, General, About and read the figure for that model rather than an average.
What should be included in the price
A fair quote covers the panel, the labour, and IVA, with no separate diagnostic fee for an obvious screen fault. It should also cover transferring your original sensors so True Tone and Face ID keep working — if a quote is unusually low, that is often what has been left out.
Ask what panel is being fitted. An LCD copy in an OLED iPhone is cheaper, looks visibly worse and commonly drifts on touch within weeks, which is the most frequent reason a phone comes in for a second screen repair.
Repair versus replacing the handset
On anything from an iPhone 11 upwards, a screen is usually a fraction of what a replacement phone costs, and your data, apps and messages stay where they are. On a very old model with several faults at once — screen, battery and charging port — it is worth talking it through before spending money.
If you are not sure whether the display itself is the fault, an inspection first is cheaper than guessing at a part.

- Is there a cheaper glass-only repair?
- Not on a modern iPhone. The glass is bonded to the display and the touch layer, so the front is replaced as one assembly. Cracked rear glass is a separate laser repair at €149.
- Does the price include IVA?
- Yes — every published price includes the part, the labour and IVA.
